Band 5 Staff Nurse (Endoscopy Unit)

PLEASE NOTE: Sponsorship is not normally available for this vacancy - applicants must have the right-to-work in the UK for this role by their proposed start date. 

An opportunity has arisen for dynamic individuals willing to learn some highly skilled endoscopy techniques and actively assist in providing quality care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.

We are seeking an enthusiastic highly motivated nurse ideally with appropriate experience in an acute setting, with a commitment to team working and a keen interest in continuous improvement.  

Experience in an endoscopy setting or gastro ward would be an advantage, but full training will be given.

The Royal Berkshire Endoscopy Unit is committed to delivering high quality patient-focused service, is a well-equipped and modern department which specializes in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients attending as day cases, in-patients and emergencies.

We undertake the Bowel cancer Screening Programme as part of the National Screening Programme.

Following induction you will have the opportunity  to undertake a number of specific endoscopy courses in line with your ongoing development programme.

We are a very busy, expanding unit and are looking for some reliable and flexible staff.

The unit is open Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30.
