WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE / DRIVER (Band 2 - Full Time)

Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services - Pathology Stores Department 

Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable warehouse operative / driver to join our busy team within BSPS Pathology Stores. You will be based at the Reading depot, covering supply requests from the whole BSPS network  The department provides services to customers between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

You must have a full clean driving licence. Full training will be given. Previous experience of driving light commercial vehicles would be an advantage but not essential.

The Trust operates a No Smoking policy on all sites and premises which includes work vehicles.

Main duties of the job

As part of the Stores team, to carry out all the duties associated with the provision of a comprehensive stores and delivery service, to drive delivery vehicles and carry out stores delivery schedules and complete all relevant paperwork. Ensuring that the stores are operated efficiently and safely and that vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, tidy and properly maintained.
