NHS AfC: Band 7

Job overview

Are you an enthusiastic, compassionate, and highly motivated leader committed to delivering exceptional care? We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and forward-thinking Speech & Language Therapist to join our Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team as a Clinical Lead.

In this senior role, you will provide specialist assessment and evidence-based intervention for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders resulting from long-term neurological conditions, delivering care in both outpatient and domiciliary settings.

You will manage a complex caseload independently, taking responsibility for the full care pathway from assessment to outcome evaluation. As a clinical leader, you will support and supervise junior staff, contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, and provide expert training and guidance to colleagues, patients, and carers. Collaboration with the inpatient SLT service in Dudley will be key to ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team, shape the future of community neurorehabilitation, and make a meaningful difference through high-quality, patient-centred care.

Informal visits are warmly encouraged, come and meet our dedicated team and learn more about the service.
