Excellent opportunities has arisen within Adults and Communities – Early Intervention Community Team at Kenrick Centre, for part-time Rehabilitation Assistants (RA).
Main duties of the job
We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible individual that will perform a pivotal role within the Early Intervention Community Team, giving you the opportunity to show how you can provide an innovative service to adults within the community as well as contributing to a comprehensive care plan for the individual service user.
The Early Intervention Community Team is focused on preventing avoidable hospital admission and facilitating discharge. You will have the opportunity to work alongside Nurses as well as Therapists in meeting these goals.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is innovative and flexible and expectations are that staff will work shifts to provide a seven day service working between 8 am and 10 pm.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
- English and Maths GCSE/Good standard of education
Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant experience in delivering direct patient care in a health or social care setting.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in a rehabilitation setting.
Skills/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic IT Skills
- Able to work in a team
- Able to work independently
- Awareness of the needs of a multicultural, socially diverse population.
- Awareness of responsibilities related to Safeguarding Vulnerable adults and children
Personal Qualities

- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates awareness of the needs of individuals’ minority groups
