Job overview
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer with a BSc or DCR(R) qualification and HCPC registration to join our specialist hospital team. The successful candidate will have previous post-graduate experience and be confident working independently as well as part of a team. This role involves delivering high-quality radiographic imaging across dental, maxillofacial, temporomandibular, and salivary gland areas to ensure excellent patient care. Flexibility to work shifts between 8.00am and 8.00pm is required to meet service needs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide specialist radiography services and ensure that all imaging meets the highest standards. They will supervise and mentor student radiographers, supporting their learning and development. A key aspect of the role involves a commitment to teaching and continuous professional development (CPD) to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills. The post holder will work proactively, using their initiative to deliver safe and effective patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment.
