Job overview
The post-holder will provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the Health & Safety Team with particular focus on maintaining and monitoring services compliance with quarterly and ad hoc health and safety reporting. Monitoring and reporting on progress of Team projects and maintain effective systems of communication with colleagues and escalate any non-compliances. Manage both incoming and outgoing communications in a professional manner on behalf of the Team.
Main duties of the job
To assist the Head of Health and Safety and Regulatory Compliance, the Health & Safety and Fire Teams in the provision and monitoring of relevant standards; supporting the delivery of training to staff through face to face, online or virtual training (e.g. TEAMS) as directed. Assist with the recording of relevant information to support data collation, reporting on trends and issuing safety alerts as and when required. To support with the administration of the Central Alert System database, the Trust Lone Working solution and developing and maintaining team databases.

Qualifications/Experience
Essential criteria
- 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) - A-C (or equivalent)
- Admin/project support experience with the NHS/healthcare/public sector - including report writing, taking minutes, maintaining databases
- Ability to deal with challenging requirements from Senior managers, project managers / work stream leaders in a calm, diplomatic and professional manner
- Proven ability to manage multiple strands of work at one time, demonstrating planning and organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Health & Safety Qualification
- Previous experience working with health and safety admin
