We are looking to recruit one RMN’s who have completed the V300 Non-Medical Prescribing Course to join the West Hub OA CMHT in Birmingham. 

As a Band 7 within the team, we are looking for someone with strong leadership and communication skills. You will have experience of working in the community, undertaking positive risk taking and working in a multidisciplinary way. The teams have a strong person-centred approach, working with clients and carers to achieve positive outcomes for both.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering care to service users in a range of community settings. Other members of the team include Consultant Psychiatrists, Hub Manager, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Development Lead, Assistant Psychologist, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Nursing Associates and Physical Health workers. The ability to work flexibly in multidisciplinary teams and in a range of settings is therefore essential.

The post holder will, in conjunction with the management team, provide strong clinical leadership and expertise to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that high standards are maintained.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will hold a caseload and will manage regular follow up and assessment clinics. They will work closely with the medical team to ensure effective patient flow and discharge management is maintained.
