Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced individuals to join the Trusts TSS bank to support our Employee Relations service. You will be required to be the lead Investigating Officer (supported by the People Team) and undertake casework investigations in a range of complex employment matters including disciplinary, grievance and bullying and harassment involving high / medium risk cases in a formal procedure. This will cover a full range of staff groups including both medical and non-medical staff and will involve supporting the Trust in achieving a timely and just culture approach to our people processes .
We are looking for individuals who have excellent analytical skills and experience in leading employee related investigations or have extensive experience in supporting staff in employee related matters. You will be able to be flexible with your workload and work to and consistently achieves deadlines / targets.
Suitable candidates will also have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a manner which is clear and non judgemental, have a cultural awareness with a good understanding of, and positive approach to, diversity.
Main duties of the job
- To undertake casework investigations in a range of complex employment matters including disciplinary, grievance and bullying and harassment, for high/medium risk cases in formal procedure. This will cover a full range of staff groups including both medical and non-medical staff.
- To support the Case Commissioning Manager on meeting the Trust’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for cases in formal proceedings.
- To conduct investigations inline with the Trust policy and with a just culture approach
