Job overview

This Band 6 Learning & Development eLearning Specialist role is to support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality eLearning and blended learning solutions across the Trust. The postholder will contribute to enhancing staff capability through the delivery of engaging, accessible digital learning resources, eLearning courses, and educational videos aligned to organisational priorities, statutory/mandatory requirements, and local service needs.

The role will work closely with the Blended Learning Lead, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and the wider L&D team and will act as a subject matter expert in digital learning, supporting the Trust’s ambition to embed technology-enhanced learning in workforce development.

Essential criteria
  • Degree or equivalent experience in education, digital media, instructional design, or related field
  • Proven experience in developing eLearning or digital learning materials in a complex organisation
  • Up-to-date knowledge of learning infrastructure (both current and emerging) and the creation of approach to maximise utilisation and user experience
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and eLearning standards (SCORM/xAPI)
  • proficient in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), Adobe Suit, Learning Management System - Moodle administration, project coordination
Desirable criteria
