Job overview

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our patient centred team of friendly radiology staff who are currently undergoing exciting transformational change throughout all modalities. We have created a rota for dedicated reporting time based on a 80:20 split.

We are a very busy multi skilled department, the majority of the work will be at Russell's Hall Acute Hospital, but there may the opportunity to work at both Guest and Corbett outpatient departments. You may be expected to take part in any shift systems in operation and Bank holiday, on-call services as required, supervising and assisting other staff, support staff, including clerical staff and Radiographic Aides.

Our aim is to provide a high quality service and standard of imaging techniques whilst ensuring that visitors to our department receive an excellent standard of care.

The department also supports an Interventional Suite, Cardiac Catheter Lab, DEXA, CT and MRI.

Main duties of the job

To provide senior oversight in your specified modality, performing high quality diagnostic examinations and independently clinically evaluating the information gained, recording relevant images and issuing a written report of the examination findings.
