Job overview

The Dudley Group and Sandwell & West Birmingham Trusts are working as a group to improve services whilst delivering for our population in a challenging environment.  This role is critical to ensure an effective strategy development and deployment process across the Group and to coordinate the production of credible plans to deliver our strategy.

Main duties of the job

The main purpose of this role is to:  

·       Provide high-quality project management support to the development of service strategies aligned with the Trust’s overarching and clinical strategies;

·       Coordinate the development of medium-term plans; 

·       utilise data and intelligence from a wide range of sources to inform strategy development and the planning process;

·       work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop and embed new service models including transformation required for the implementation of integrated care models.

  • Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent career path experience

  • Numerate, with excellent analytical skills including ability to use Excel to analyse and present complex quantitative data

  • In-depth working knowledge of the UK healthcare sector and its regulation

  • Substantial knowledge of national NHS policy and direction of travel and implication for the regional and local health economy
