We are excited to welcome you to join our expanding Imaging nursing team and provide strong leadership within the Imaging Department across all sites within  DGFT .

The nursing team play an active part within the Imaging department providing support across all modalities. An oversight of all areas is an integral part of this role as well as being an active part of the Senior Management team.

This is a varied and challenging role that is pivitol to the success of the department,

Main duties of the job

Be an active part of the Senior Management team.

Lead the Imaging nursing team

Support improvements in Patient Experience along with dealing with Pals complaints, Datix and resolving issues.

Ensure clinical compliance and produce reports for relevant meetings

  • Educated to Degree Level
  • NMC Mentorship Qualification
  • Leadership Management Qualification

Knowledge & Training

  • Computer/IT skills
  • Experience of writing & Presenting Reports
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Experience of Leadership Management Development/Leading a team
  • Knowledge of current issues in Healthcare
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of implementing change
  • Evidence of higher level practice

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of Managing/Leading a team
  • Substantial post registration Experience at Band 7
  • Experience of Governance processes
  • Experience of managing RCA/serious incidents
