Job overview

To support the Trust's Patient Experience Strategy through effective deployment of patient engagement and involvement programmes, including capturing data in real-time from patients and supporting the administrative and data related duties for the Patient Experience Team. 

 

 

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support to the Patient Experience Team and be a point of contact for patients and members of the public who wish to contact the service.  To undertake specific administrative and data related duties to support the Patient Experience Team.

Education and quaifications

Essential criteria
  • 4 GCSEs (C or above or equivalent)
  • Basic IT skills – e.g., familiarity with Microsoft Word & Excel
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL or equivalent

Skills and experience

Essential criteria
  • A proven record of previous admin experience
  • To have IT and high level administration skills, able to analyse data, contribute to reports and be proficient in the use of databases, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working with patients / public in a customer service role
  • Experience of patient experience data collection

Personal qualities

Essential criteria
  • Able to work under some pressure and able to respond quickly to changes in working practice
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
Desirable criteria
  • Able to prioritise workloads
