Job overview
Rookery Gardens are looking for individuals who are able to develop therapeutic relationships and support them to maintain a healthy living environment as part of their mental health rehabilitation programme, in partnership with Birmingham Solihull Mental health and Foundation Trust and SSL estates and facilities.
Rookery Gardens is based on a street of 14 houses, these are 4 independent flats, 7 shared houses,2 assessment houses occupied by service users who have varying levels of support needs., Finally, we have a staff base and a staff well-being flat.
We are based next to the Ardenleigh site which is conveniently placed next to the number 11 bus route and X14.
Main duties of the job
To work as a member of the ward team by contributing to the provision of a comfortable and effective stay for patients.
To be responsible for over seeing that the ward is clean and tidy,
that patients food is stored correctly, that repairs, maintenance, linen services and consumables are available to contribute to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
