Job overview
To be responsible for the clinical professional leadership and management of therapists, therapy assistants, nurses within Dudley Rehabilitation Service (DRS). Responsible for the day to day management of the teams that make up DRS.

To lead the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient rehabilitation services are provided.

To identify clinical priorities at operational level for the teams ensuring the highest standards of clinical and professional practice through professional leadership, supervision, mentorship and practice development.

To lead the development of the pathways in Dudley Rehabilitation Service to enable continuous quality improvement in the service provision and clinical practice.

To establish and maintain a clear structure for clinical and professional advice and support for all members of both teams.

To monitor the services provided against the service level agreements and DGFT objectives.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the provision of rehabilitation & management of patients with a variety of conditions, seen by Dudley Rehabilitation Service, to increase or maintain their independence as much as possible and for as long as possible.

Qualifications and Education
Essential criteria
- Degree in physiotherapy, occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Nursing or Equivalent
- Member of relevant professional body
- Registered with HCPC or NMC
- Management qualification or willingness to work towards MSc or equivalent.
- Evidence of comprehensive post graduate training in relevant specialty
- Evidence of continual professional training
