Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to play a crucial role as an administrator for the Heart Failure Team at the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will liaise with a wide range of staff and patients to deliver an excellent level of care. You need to be self-motivated, well organised and a good communicator.
Please note - this vacancy is a fixed term role for 12 months.
Main duties of the job
- Process patient referrals along the heart failure pathway
- Answer all telephone calls and pro-actively deal with queries, liaising with the clinical staff where necessary
- Organise weekly MDT meetings and take minutes/actions
- Book patient appointments
- Deal with incoming emails and post
- Co-ordinate patient notes to ensure they are ready for clinics
- Be responsible for ordering and maintaining stock

- GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths - Grade C or above
- Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
