Job overview
We are looking to recruit a qualified nursery nurse to join our busy and successful nursery. you will need to hold a relevant childcare qualification to level 3 or above. Experience of working with children is desirable. You will need to have a good understanding of child development, the EYFS, OFSTED standards and an OFSTED approved Paediatric First aid and life support training. You will need to be able to complete relevant paperwork, plan and carry out activities to support the children's learning and development. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative is also desirable
Main duties of the job
Work as part of a team to meet the needs of children from 3 months to 5 years of age
Plan, observe and carry out age appropriate activities
Carry out regular assessments on the children's development
Liaise with parents and carers
Be understanding of children's needs and emotions
Complete paperwork on time

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified nursery nurse to join our established team. You will need a full and relevant childcare qualification.
A busy nursery where every day is different offers you the chance to develop your knowledge and skills, we also offer additional training opportunities.
Being able to work in a sometimes noisy environment with an established team who support each other offers candidates the opportunity to play a vital role in the team. Sound knowledge of child development and being able to plan, carry out and evaluate age appropriate activities to help the children grow and meet their full potential is an essential part of the job
Communication is essential for this role as you will need to communicate with children, colleagues, parents and students
Supporting children in their development is essential and being able to recognize if children need additional support is vital to the role
