Job overview
New secondment/fixed term opportunity until end of March 2026. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated medical secretary to join our team and provide secretarial support to two Consultant Psychiatrists and the medical team at Mary Seacole House, an acute inpatient mental health hospital.
The successful candidate must have great accuracy and attention to detail. They must have a flexible attitude with a friendly and patient centered attitude.
Main duties of the job
Working with the consultants and medical team based at Mary Seacole House, Acute Inpatient Service , the Medical Secretary will be expected to provide a full range of secretarial services. This will include ensuring that all correspondence is dealt with quickly and attendance at the ward round/MDT for minute taking.
