Job overview

We are looking for Occupational Therapists to join our bank here at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

You will carry a varied individual caseload and have opportunities to gain experience across acute & community sites - Trauma & Orthopaedics,  Neurology, Older Adults Rehabilitation, Acute Medicine, Children’s Services, Oncology, Community Rehabilitation, & Admissions Avoidance.  You will be supported and developed by experienced senior staff.

There maybe a requirement to work on a rota basis to provide weekend, bank holiday and extended hours cover.

Main duties of the job

To participate in the Junior rotation scheme which involves working across the Trust in a range of ward and other settings including but not exclusive to: medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, community rehabilitation & admission avoidance, Children's, Oncology .

To provide Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of patients in the area of each rotation and to the out of hours services.

To maintain close working relationships with other health professionals /referrers to ensure efficient, effective and appropriate delivery of the service.
