Job overview

The job involves working within the administration team that supports Community Midwifery at UHBW in a clerical capacity.
The role is essential to improving communication between the hospital and community setting to ensure that all pregnant people accessing our service, receive a responsive and effective service.  

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the job are;
  • Work within a team to provide clerical support to community midwifery and the community midwifery matron
  • Take calls from and communicate with pregnant people, providing administrative support and forwarding pregnancy concerns on to their named midwives.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Recent experience in administration or office setting
  • Information processing
  • Basic knowledge of procurement using an IT system
