We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Technical Officer/Cleaner - Band 2
This is an entry level position and the last post holders have been promoted internally.
Full training will be given for the post.
All staff are supported to develop their potential through a structured personal development programme and to develop required skills and knowledge.

Main duties of the job
- Undertake specialist cleaning of the Aseptic and Non-Sterile Unit- requiring a 7am start of working day
- Be involved in the preparation of non-sterile medicines following set procedures
- Complete over-labelling of medicines
- Be involved in stock checks
- Be responsible for goods receiving of medicines
- Have an opportunity to learn about Good Manufacturing Practice
Applicants must have:
- Maths and English at Grade C/ level 4
- Have an aptitude for practical work
- Be able to work methodically and accurately
- Perform effectively under pressure
- Have an excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment or alone
