The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday and we are looking for someone to work either:
16:00 - 20:00 OR 17:00 - 21:00

Main duties of the job
As a Facilities Services Assistant, you will be helping to support the clinical team in their delivery of a high standard of patient service and clinical care to the people of our local population.
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean & hygienic environment. Your main responsibilities will be to clean the hospital to the required standard following NHS cleaning protocols; you will lead in the cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas.

- Basic Education – Reading and writing plus basic numeric skills
- NVQ Level 1 or Cleaning Experience in a similar field
Knowledge

- Previous experience of working in a small team

- Previous NHS experience

- Able to prioritise and use own initiative, when faced with several cleaning requests
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
