An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing Moving and Handling Team in the role of a Bank Moving and Handling Trainer.

The successful candidate will have experience of direct patient care, a passion for high quality moving and handling and a teaching/training qualification or willingness to work towards one.

This will include training in the classroom as well as training and support within the workplace

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • To be responsible for delivering and evaluating an efficient and effective Mandatory and Statutory training programme to all staff.
  •  Working with administrative colleagues to contribute to the effective timetabling and running of the Mandatory and Statutory training at Sirona sites and a range of external community venues, attending in person wherever possible, ensuring staff are welcomed and the training sessions run smoothly.
  •  Advise staff face-to-face or virtually with queries to help achieve compliance and competency and direct to useful resources/guides. Also assist staff to navigate the learning management system successfully where needed.

Qualifications and Training Required

  • Educated to Diploma level or equivalent experience in relevant subject or willingness to achieve in learning and development, organisational development, HR or education and training.
  • Relevant experience of delivering and designing training
  • Evidence of continuous professional development

  • Teaching qualification or training membership - expectation to complete relevant Training Qualification in post (CEAT Level 4)

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience of delivering training and assessing in relevant subject in a Learning and Organisational Development, training/education, HR environment
  • Experience of collating and reviewing data from a variety of sources.
  • Highly effective organisational skills, excellent time management and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines; to manage fluctuations in demand and often unpredictable workload priorities throughout the working day
  • Experience of evaluation and feedback e.g. assessing the effectiveness of training and education in relation to learning outcomes.

  • Experience of the NHS or health/social care employment.
  • Understanding of delivering training provision and the reporting of KPIs
  • Experience of a range of learning programmes and career pathways to enhance career development and progression.
