Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are expanding our friendly, dynamic and talented team since opening our new Children's Emergency Department and Observation Unit. This is an exciting time and a great opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Our new Children’s Emergency Department has 12 cubicles with a 2 bedded designated resuscitation area, providing emergency nursing care and support to children and young people aged 0-15 years (up to 17 years for our young people requiring CAMHS support).

Our new children’s observation unit which is co-located with our new children’s emergency department provides an opportunity to care for acutely unwell or injured children that may need a period of assessment following admission through our children’s emergency department prior to discharge, as well as those children and young people who have been referred by their GP and other referrals to the paediatric team.

You will monitor, treat and then either admit the child to the ward or discharge home. In addition, you will gain experience in nursing acutely ill children in emergency situations.

These posts are for dynamic, motivated and committed nurses, both adult and children’s nurses, paramedics who are seeking to join us in caring for children and young people through our urgent care pathways.

We offer all staff a comprehensive preceptorship and development package which is led by our children’s practice development team
