#TEAMMKUH are seeking a dedicated and experienced Named Nurse to join our dynamic Safeguarding Team on a Bank contract. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to vital safeguarding initiatives and collaborate on impactful project work.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community, working alongside a passionate and caring team committed to making a difference.

This highly specialised role will provide advice, guidance, supervision, and
professional development in relation to safeguarding throughout the Trust. This role also provides professional leadership to support regulatory and best practice standards in relation to safeguarding. The Safeguarding Adult/Children’s Lead will be responsible for overseeing safeguarding quality improvements, within the current legislative framework and anticipate new statutory responsibilities.

- Registered Nurse/Registered Professional (Social Worker/Allied Health Professional)
- Master’s degree or working towards
- Sound knowledge of Safeguarding Adults including the legislation to which it applies
- Thorough understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
- Registered Children’s Nurse or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. (Health Visitor or School Nurse)
- Specific post registration training in safeguarding children/young people.
- Level 3 Multiagency Safeguarding Children’s Training (Intercollegiate document 2018)

- Relevant experience in a senior role relating to Safeguarding and currently practicing.
