During 2017 we have had lots to be proud of:
- Our Trust has recently been designated as one of eight Accountable Care Systems in the country by NHS England to help lead the way in developing new models of care.
- We have been ranked as one of the UK's top hospitals by health intelligence specialists CHKS. This award is based on the evaluation of over 20 key performance indicators covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care.
- Our Stroke Unit has maintained the ‘A grade’ in the latest Royal College of Physicians’ Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) audit.
As an integrated Trust we provide acute, community and palliative care. We do this from our patients homes, from one of our five community hospitals, and from two acute hospitals at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe.

The Trust is currently recruiting a Outpatient Receptionist to work within the Outpatients Department at Wycombe Hospital. Unless stated, the hours are 37.5, Monday to Friday 8.30 – 17.00.
The Outpatient Department works in close line with a number of the government targets around patient waiting times and as a Receptionist your duties will involve checking patients in for clinics, making patient appointments, using the computerised appointment system and applying knowledge of targets and clinic types, rearranging appointments, dealing with patients, dealing with queries from internal and external contacts face to face and over the telephone and providing an efficient and effective administration service.
We are looking for candidates who have a Good Basic Education, i.e. GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, and who have clear, concise verbal and written communication skills to enable liaison with multi-disciplinary team, must good key board skills and knowledge of word.
