Job overview
Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow (Core/ST1-ST2) in Neurosurgery.
These posts may be suitable for those wishing to undertake an “F3” role.
Main duties of the job
The duties of this post predominantly include management of neurosurgical patients on the ward. It is expected however that the successful candidate will also gain experience in the management of patients in theatre and possibly in clinic. This is a busy neurosurgical job that offers the chance to gain experience in an outstanding neurosurgical department.
Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.
Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
