Post 1: Oncology to commence 06 August 2025 until 05 August 2026
Post 2: Acute Medicine to commence 06 August 2025 until 03 February 2026 rotating to Oncology from 04 February 2026 until 04 August 2026
Post 3: Oncology to commence 06 August 2025 until 03 February 2026 rotating to Acute Medicine from 04 February 2026 until 04 August 2026
These posts are particularly suitable for doctors who are contemplating a career in Oncology who wish to develop some experience in the management of solid tumours.
Main duties of the job
In order to be considered applicants must meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification and have:
• Completion of Foundation Competencies.
• A minimum of 6 months experience working in the NHS.
• Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application.
Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.
This post may be suitable for those wishing to undertake an “F3” role.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
