Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in Shoulder Surgery for a period of 6 months. 

The following posts are available:
Post 1: 04 February 2026 until 04 August 2026
Post 2: 05 August 2026 until 03 February 2027
Post 3: 04 February 2027 until 04 August 2027

The post will provide excellent exposure in both elective and trauma surgery. The successful applicants will be involved in the care and management of patients in the clinic and ward and in both day-case and in-patient surgery. The appointees will also be expected to be actively involved in both research and teaching.

Main duties of the job

In order to be considered applicants  must  have MRCS or equivalent, and be fully registered with a license to practice with the General Medical Council at the time of application. 

To be eligible for appointment at the Senior Clinical Fellow level within this role you are required to have completed Specialty Registrar training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the UK or equivalent with CCT.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
