This is currently funded for 32 cots (8 intensive care, 12 high dependency, 12 special care cots), although facilities and infrastructure are available to allow increase of up to 50 cots in the next years. Additionally, the CHANTS neonatal transfer team operates from UHW every 3 weeks and is expanding to 24/7 cover.
