Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

With effect from 1st April 2017 points 1-5 on the AFC pay scales will be adjusted to £16,523 to reflect the incorporation of the Living Wage Foundation rate of £8.45 per hour.

THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 18 MONTHS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic registered Nurse to join our expanding Neurosciences Research Team. The post holder will work specifically on assisting the Neuroscience Research Unit Nurse Manager in the delivery of the exciting Cannabis Oil Study.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to meet the service needs of the studies, including working unsocial hours when needed.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
