THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 3 MONTHS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Healthcare Support Worker to join our excellent team and assist in the development of our services within the environment of our Paediatric E.N.T. Outpatients Department.
We are a warm and friendly team who pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care for all of our patients and the successful applicant will be well supported.
Previous experience working with children or in an outpatient setting is desirable but is not essential. Good communication and organisational skills are essential; a flexible attitude to your duties and the ability to work well in a team is paramount. Main aspects of the role are:
- Able to communicate effectively with children and adults
- Be a chaperone for registered Practitioners within an children’s outpatients setting
- Assist in providing treatments for children with Ear, Nose & throat concerns
- Provide distraction to children whilst in the ENT outpatients area
- Work well within a team
This role is for 35hrs / week for a 3 month period (January - April 2022).
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Welsh language skills are desirable
