Day case and in-patient surgery cases are delivered at University Hospital Llandough.  There is commitment to participate in a 1 in 12 weekend trauma rota covering University Hospital of Wales and a 1 in 16 weekday rota within a 4-person trauma team.

Academic interests will be encouraged; research and teaching in collaboration with Cardiff University’s School of Medicine will be expected.
