Job overview
Trauma Clinic encompasses a wide variety of both Adult and Paediatric Trauma, in an outpatient setting. We have both Adult Nurses and Paediatric Nurses in our department. The clinic runs Monday-Friday day time.
To take a key role in the induction and mentorship of new and unregistered staff, and provide supervision.

We are an excellent team with a vast amount of knowledge and experience, with support systems in place ready to give you the best start with our directorate. We are looking for registered nurses with the BOA Level 5 Casting Certificate.
Main duties of the job
The role offers the newly registered the opportunity to gain casting skills, complex wound care including VAC/PICO and pin site care, general running of clinics, paediatric pre assessment, close collaborative working with consultants and the multi disciplinary team, theatre experience and nurse led clinics.
To be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without direction and supervision.
Demonstrate and supervise practice and procedures to registered and unregistered nursing staff to secure effective nursing practice.
