Job overview

This role sits within the Digital Transformation team, within the HEIW Digital, Data and Engagement Directorate. Since the progression and evolution of the Microsoft 365 solution, there are now more tools, techniques, and benefits available across HEIW and NHS Wales. There is therefore a requirement for people, processes, data, and technology to embed effective ways of working with the M365 solution, across every tangible aspect of the working environment which supports our users and how they work.

Main duties of the job

The key objectives for this role are:

  • To design, develop and support the HEIW M365 applications and services for which HEIW is responsible.
  • To ensure the M365 application is developed and performs to the requirements of its users and the organisation.
  • To provide specialist advice, support, and training to the organisation on the M365 solution and applications.
  • To provide specialist business and information analysis.
  • To create and develop a digital working environment that breaks down organisational working silos.
  • To enable and facilitate collaboration internally and externally.
  • To improve productivity and efficiency for digital and business processes and embedding effective data controls and management.

Working for our organisation

- Ideas that Improve: Harnessing creativity and continuously innovating, evaluating and improving,

- Together as a Team: Working with colleagues across NHS Wales and with partner organisations.

HEIW received the HPMA Award for Employee Engagement in 2019.

What you can expect:

- a corporate induction and 90 day Welcome itinerary,

- compassionate leadership,

- a meaningful values based performance appraisal process,
