The  Recruitment Advisor undertakes day to day calls and administration of the Recruitment process for medical and non-medical areas.

To answer operational calls that come into the recruitment services helpdesk. Utilise the chosen software system in order to prioritise calls as soon as possible. Enter information into the system accurately and promptly. Provide advice to callers where appropriate

Provides support to the senior members of the Recruitment Team in the establishment of processes and systems of within recruitment.

Contributes to the All Wales National Recruitment agenda as necessary.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, customer focused, individual who has had call handling experience to join our dedicated and successful Recruitment Team on the All Wales Helpdesk.

We are a dynamic and diverse team who are committed to providing an excellent recruitment service to Health Boards across Wales.

We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn and keen to deliver in both performance and customer service.

We provide administrative recruitment support to Health Board managers and applicants using electronic systems as well as providing advice and guidance where needed so good computer, keyboard and communication skills are essential to the role.

This is a Hybrid role with the Contractual base being Companies House. There will be a requirement to attend the office a minimum of 1 day week. You will be provided with the support and equipment you will need to be able to work from home, but an internet/WiFi connection is essential.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including English Language
  • Understanding of recruitment processes
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
Desirable criteria
  • RSA level 3 or equivalent
  • ECDL or equivalent
  • Understanding of a computerised recruitment package

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of a customer focused clerical environment
  • Experience in an administration role
  • Experience of using MS office programmes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
  • Experience of working in a contact centre
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience in busy office environment
  • Experience of working in a HR/ Training/ Recruitment environment
