Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.

Job overview
The post holder will support the effective implementation and management of the Salary Sacrifice Schemes across NHS Wales by providing a high-quality professional service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
Promote and maintain effective working relationships with the salary sacrifice company and NHS Organisation contacts.
Analyse queries regarding VAT, payroll deduction, individual staff calculations and NHS Fleet Solutions schedules.
Liaise with the Health Board’s Payroll Department to query any relevant salary/financial information.
Complete calculations regarding financial queries relating to salary sacrifice, verifying financial information before the application is processed.
Communicate information regarding the financial and personal implications of the salary sacrifice scheme, ensuring this is understood by the member of staff.
Will be required to communicate complex tax and financial related information to staff.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Undertake formal Salary Sacrifice presentations; disseminate appropriate information and clarify complex issues to a wide range of personnel.
Assist with the delivery of customised marketing events and workshops to large groups of staff throughout NHS Wales to encourage take-up of the scheme.
Assist in the production of comprehensive analysis reports and business documents to Managers within NHS Wales as and when required.
Provide regular individual Health Board progress reports and updates via various reporting methods.
Support launch of the scheme within each Health Board by carrying out a unique and comprehensive implementation process, influenced by the Health Boards specific requirements.
Maintain a complex information management system, ensuring that financial information is accurately inputted into systems and financial calculations are accurate.
Act as an intermediary between Fleet Solutions and local Car Dealerships to encourage successful working relationships.
Continue to monitor the scheme administration and actively look for ways to improve information and database systems.
Partake in regular update meetings with individual Health Boards to discuss employee uptake, suggestions for improvements and the need for further marketing of the scheme.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- NVQ level 4 / Diploma / equivalent AAT qualification or equivalent experience working within a financial/payroll environment. Demonstrable experience working in a similar field.

- Experience of working in an administrative role in an office environment.
