Oncology Pharmacist - Clinical and Technical Services

Job overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacist who wishes to develop their clinical oncology and aseptic services skills. As a specialist pharmacist in Velindre, you will have a variety of duties including aseptic, clinical, clinical trials, dispensary and ward based roles.

As valued member of our team you will be given every opportunity to develop yourself further whilst with us. Experience in oncology/haematology is desirable but we will consider candidates with general clinical skills and motivation to learn.

This post is fixed term for 9 months due to the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

To assist the Chief Pharmacist and Principal Pharmacists in developing and maintaining the pharmaceutical service to Velindre NHS Trust to ensure that it is safe, efficient in the use of resources and complies with the Clinical Governance requirements of the trust.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
