Qualifications

Essential criteria

Undergraduate degree in a behavioural science subject or demonstrable equivalent learning
Postgraduate degree in behavioural science or demonstrable equivalent learning
Evidence of continuing professional/personal development

Experience

Essential criteria

Application of evidence or theory to the formulation of behaviour-change interventions in different populations
Developing, delivering and evaluating training
Experience of using multiple -sources of evidence (qualitative and quantitative) to develop behavioural insight to inform behaviour change interventions

Knowledge and Understanding

Essential criteria

Knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of routinely available data sources for behavioural change
Knowledge of the current evidence-base for effective behavioural science-informed health behaviour change interventions

Skills and Abilities

Essential criteria

Highly developed communication skills
Ability to synthesise, translate and communicate highly complex information to a range of audiences
Ability to analyse and interpret complex facts and situations and develop a range of options and recommendations
Digitally competent with the ability to use a range of software for data collection, analysis, communication, and networking purposes

Self motivated, self starter

The salary scale shown is for a full-time member of staff, with the amount being adjusted pro rata for those working less than 37.5 hours per week.

In general, anyone joining our Trust who has not previously worked in the NHS will, by default, start on the first point of the advertised pay band. Pay progression will then be determined by annual Performance and Development Reviews in accordance with the NHS Wales Pay Progression Policy. An application for Incremental Credit may be considered, but can only be awarded based on evidenced, reckonable service and/or equivalent, relevant experience.
