An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Operative/HGV Driver to be based in Denbigh Regional NHS Stores. 

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Service across all Health Boards in Wales via its Health Courier Service, and is seeking a Stores Operative/HGV Driver to join this service based in Bodelwyddan.

The successful applicant will join the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport team who provide picking, packing and distribution services to Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Powys Health Board and Welsh Ambulance Services Trust (North). The role will be a combination of HGV driving and delivery to various sites across these Health Board areas as well as picking and packing within the Regional Stores. 

The working pattern will be 8 to 4, Monday to Friday. 

*THIS ROLE REQUIRES HGV CAT C LICENSE AND CPC*

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar environment. The main duties of the job will be to carry out driving duties which are allocated in line with business and customer requirements as well as ensuring the vehicles are loaded methodically and in line with legal requirements. The postholder will also ensure accurate selection of items whilst picking goods in the Warehouse and maintaining a high standard of packing goods. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
