Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Patient Registration Officer within the Primary Care Services function at NWSSP based in St Asaph.
The job summary and purpose of the role is to be responsible for the GP link, medical record transfers and general duties within registration. This is an office based role.
Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities are to maintain a sound working knowledge of the core registration system applications and to understand the required work procedures, practices and protocols necessary for the function.
The job summary and purpose of the role is to be responsible for GP amendments and removals, the transfer of local and English medical records. To assist the managers with the administration of the alternative treatment scheme and any other general duties within registration.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this post: Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade A-C or Knowledge of NWSSP and its clients
Desirable criteria
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Mathematics & English Language.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant experience of working in the NHS
Desirable criteria
- Significant NHS experience of which spent in a similar role
Skills and Attributes
Essential criteria
- IT Literate
- Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues/clients. Team Worker
- Developed Communication skills
- Proven organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5.
