Bronglais Hospital is part of Hywel Dda University Health Board which has an excellent Parkinsons disease service that continually strives to deliver the best outcomes for patients. We are looking to appoint an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support and further develop this service.

This is an exciting opportunity for any nurse who has extensive experience within Parkinson's care who wishes to expand their clinical skills and knowledge to help develop an expanding service which is fully patient centred.

The candidate will be highly motivated and have post registration experience with a desire to promote and develop excellence in clinical practice. You will have excellent teaching, communication and leadership skills and will be committed to supporting and developing practice and new service initiatives.

The post holder will provide Advanced Nurse Practice care and give specialist nursing advice and support to patients (in-patient and out-patient) and their families, throughout the care pathway.

Appropriate support and development for the successful applicant will be negotiated on an individual basis.

The nurse will be a highly visible presence across the speciality and wards, working to ensure the highest standards of care, setting and maintaining standards of clinical excellence and continuously improving experiences for patients, families and carers.

For this role you will need to have current NMC Nursing registration with post qualification experience.

Educated to Masters level qualification progress with Non medical prescribing OR 60 credits at Master Level with the view to complete within 2 years of appointment

Possession of excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills coupled with evidence of continuing professional development is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
