A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff Nurse to join the team at Amman Valley Hospital on Cysgod Y Cwm ward.
Cysgod Y Cwm ward is a Rehabilitation and Palliative care ward. This is a 28 bedded unit focusing on rehabilitation of the elderly.
The service is both GP and consultant led. Admission are accepted from the community and both general hospitals within Carmarthenshire.
This is a part time post for 22.5 hours.
Main duties of the job
The Registered Nurse is required to work with Multi-disciplinary team in the rehabilitation environment to promote independence and supporting discharge process.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills in order to use and apply this knowledge to facilitate complex discharges.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
