Job overview
Shape the future of acute paediatric care in one of the UK's most beautiful regions.
An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Paediatrician with a specialist interest in Ambulatory and Critical Care to join our dedicated Acute Paediatric Team at Withybush Hospital. This is a rewarding role for a motivated clinician looking to combine excellent clinical practice with leadership, service development, teaching and research.
As a substantive Consultant within Hywel Dda University Health Board, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care for children and young people across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and critical care services. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, contributing senior clinical leadership to the ongoing development and modernisation of Acute and Emergency Paediatric Medicine. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will have opportunities to support research, quality improvement, teaching and training, helping to develop the next generation of healthcare professionals while advancing paediatric services across the region.

The successful candidate will provide professional leadership within the Acute Paediatric Service, contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement, service development and the delivery of national and local priorities.
