The Radiology Department at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli is seeking to recruit a Band 5 Radiographer to join its general departmental imaging team. We provide healthcare services to the people living in Carmarthenshire and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have previous experience of general radiographic imaging preferably in an acute hospital setting. This busy Hospital carries out a varied mix of workload and participation in the Out of Hours service will be expected after a suitable training period. Mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant during the induction period.
We are ideally situated close to the M4 and the stunning scenery of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and the Gower Peninsular. Llanelli has many amenities and has good road and rail links to Carmarthen, Swansea and Cardiff.
A departmental visit would be encouraged for interested candidates.
The Radiology Department has a long term reputation for Radiographer advancement and regular CPD sessions will be given. Staff are encouraged to actively participate in departmental education.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
