An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Secretary to join the Acute Care Team here at Bowmere Hospital, predominantly working on Beech ward.

We are looking to recruit a highly organised individual who will be expected to provide confidential, accurate and timely administrative duties.  You should possess commitment to team working, be proactive in your work ethic, able to manage your own workload and be expected to show initiative and be responsive to the needs of the service

The post holder will also need to be an effective communicator with good written skills which would support them in communicating with service users, carers and health and social care professionals.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a highly organised individual who is looking for a position to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our busy acute ward. You will need to demonstrate that you have experience that will enable you to provide timely, accurate and confidential notes and are able to meet deadlines. You are required to have strong organisational skills and be able to demonstrate that you have experience of managing your own time as well as working as part of a team. You should have experience of Microsoft IT packages and possess good communication skills as you will be liaising with both services users, carers and health and social care professionals.
