Job overview

We’re seeking a proactive Band 3 Administrator to support our Early Intervention Team in Congleton. This  role is vital to smooth service delivery, supporting both staff and service users. You’ll provide flexible cover across the team, handling telephony, referral input, ordering supplies audio typing, and general admin tasks.

You’ll deliver high-quality administrative and secretarial support, manage calls and enquiries with empathy and professionalism, maintain accurate records, and adapt to changing priorities.

We’re looking for someone organised, efficient, and able to manage competing demands, with excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner. You should thrive under pressure, work well in a team, and be confident working across different settings.

Main duties of the job

Main duties include updating records, ,call handling, liaising with staff and service users, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting colleagues with ad hoc tasks and cross-cover.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support across teams, updating clinical records, inputting referrals, drafting correspondence through audio typing, and managing incoming calls.

  • Deliver telephony services, responding to service users, carers, and professional enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.

  • Liaise effectively with clinical staff, external agencies, and service users via phone, email, and face-to-face contact to support smooth service delivery.

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure compliance with information governance, data protection, and safeguarding requirements.

  • Assist colleagues by providing ad hoc administrative support, training, and cross-cover to promote a resilient and collaborative team environment.

  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ level 111 in an admin related subject or equivalent
