Job overview

The post holder will work as part of the Healthier Futures team to continue the Trust wide implementation and post-implementation support of the Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) system for staff, by providing expert advice, guidance and solutions to enhance the use of the software.  They will provide training on the system and project support as well as rolling out to new departments as required.  The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Senior Digital Project manager in providing a comprehensive support service for all users of the system and to develop and maintain a range of reports that support the Trust’s objectives.  The post holder will encourage and facilitate the dissemination of information generated by the Trust’s AVT solution, supporting strategies and procedures to ensure optimal utilisation of the Trust’s substantive workforce.  The post holder will maintain processes and procedures, acting as first and second line support for the AVT system.

Main duties of the job

Provide specialist advice to end users across the organisation, acting as the first point of contact for queries. Support the Digital Senior Project Manager in delivering system implementation. Create, redesign and maintain templates for wards/departments in collaboration with super users and end users. Ensure system rules and settings align with provider guidance and best practice. Build strong working relationships with the AVT provider, DCS and IT teams to enable timely, accurate data submissions for benefits realisation.

Troubleshoot user issues, logging calls with the supplier where required. Maintain knowledge of establishment control procedures, addressing inconsistencies in AVT setup and changes. Manage and update the AVT intranet/SharePoint page. Deliver engagement sessions to increase buy-in and understanding. Support KPI reporting and metrics, and facilitate check-and-challenge processes to ensure compliance with Trust KPIs.

Assist with programme plans and risk registers. Ensure all system modules interface effectively, diagnosing and resolving issues or escalating as needed. Support system administration, including user accounts, testing, reference data, configuration and upgrades. Promote best practice sharing, communicate complex issues clearly to clinical and non-clinical staff, and analyse/document workflows to ensure implementation meets service needs.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

1. Provide specialist user support for the AVT system
Act as the first point of contact for staff queries, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with the supplier support desk when needed.
2. Support implementation and rollout of AVT across the Trust
Work with the Senior Digital Project Manager to help implement the system, roll it out to new departments, and support ongoing programme plans and risk registers.
3. Maintain and administer the system
Help manage user accounts, configuration, upgrades, reference data, interfaces, and ensure the system is set up in line with best practice and provider recommendations.
4. Deliver training and engagement activities
Design and deliver training, create user guidance and communication materials, and run engagement sessions to build understanding and buy-in from staff.
5. Produce reports and support benefits realisation
Prepare KPI and performance reports, maintain project information on the intranet/SharePoint page, and work with stakeholders to ensure data supports monitoring and benefits realisation.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
