E-Roster Systems Manager

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an E-Roster systems manager at Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role will help the organisation to continue delivering a high quality and efficient E-Roster service, which provides staff with the necessary support and guidance in the effective use of the system.

The E-Roster systems manager will also be responsible for ensuring the E-Roster system is maintained, updated and optimised to maximum performance to meet the needs of the Trust. 

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated driven to support the Trust with the roll out and implementation of E-Preference Rostering across all clinical areas.

Main duties of the job

·         To coordinate the delivery of high-quality training programs to all E-Roster users

·         Work with managers and staff to effectively implement, support and maintain E-Roster.

·         To offer day-to-day support to staff and ensure appropriate investigations take place of any errors or problems with the system.

·         To promote best practice in roster ensuring rosters consistently meet the required quality standards.

·         To manage change within the Trust, being a champion of the software and encouraging others to adapt to a new way of working.

·         To participate in sub-projects as required.

·         To produce accurate and timely Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for to meet Trust requirements

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Degree in relevant field or relevant equivalent Uni Points / diplomas /other training sources / Extensive Demonstratable Functional Hands on Experience in E-Roster
  • Excellent level of general education to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English.
Desirable criteria
  • Qualification in project management

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Extensive functional experience in E-Roster Systems.
  • Experience of project work
  • Experience in NHS Workforce Information systems
  • Experience in training on computerised systems
Desirable criteria
  • Supervisory Experience

Skills, knowledge and competencies

Essential criteria
  • Ability to interpret data / information and act on results
  • Excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft (Access, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate an understanding of audit processes.
