We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to lead two teams - one in Macclesfield and one in Stockport. They will be delivering innovative and high-quality care to people with Eating Disorders. CWP is a leading provider of Eating Disorder services in the North West, delivering Community services from 7 locations as well as providing the only NHS Inpatients Eating Disorder beds in the North West. The manager will work within the Macclesfield and Stockport branches of the service, but will also be part of a wider network within the service, granting access to support and opportunities from Managers and other Multidisciplinary Team Members.

This is an exciting time to work in the field of Eating Disorders, with CWP acting as Lead provider in the "Empowered" NW Adult Eating Disorder Provider Collaborative. The team is a driving force behind innovation and improvements in service provision for this vulnerable patient group.

This role is especially well-suited to people with strong experience of working in the field of Eating Disorders. People who have significant experience in wider mental health services are also encouraged to apply, especially if there are transferrable clinical skills and some experience of management and leadership.

Main duties of the job

The position comprises clinical and managerial elements. Successful candidates will provide clinical leadership for a skilled, passionate and supportive team consisting of therapeutic, dietetic, medical and administrative staff. There is a strong emphasis on service development and providing the best possible care for our clients. The manager will use their interpersonal and problem-solving skills to ensure that team members are supervised and well-supported.


The manager will also carry a small clinical caseload of people with different forms of eating disorder, sometimes also presenting with additional mental health complexity. The team helps people with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and OSFED. A range of clinical and therapeutic skills can be utilised in order to support patients towards recovery. We also pride ourselves on providing support for family members. The clinical aspect of the job provides a high degree of satisfaction for practitioners.

The senior leadership within CWP Eating Disorder services, consisting of other Team Managers , Head of Clinical Service and Consultant Psychiatrists provide a network to support and encourage your development of the service.
